Twenty years after the Isamic Revolution in Iran, our country, is now stepping into a phase of economic organization and with the help of implementing reforms in the country's economic structure, intends to give the needed thrive and direction to this field. In this regard, the fact that remains to be of significant importance, is the policy of reviewing Iran's dom_stic and international investment. Everyone understands nowadays that each and every countries economic development is usually in line with investment, and this brings along development, cultivation and emploYment.
A comparative economic study of different world countries shows that a stable development in these countries, has always been followed with investment, and this fantastic economic phenomena, has reached new levels in the global scene, but for numerous reasons, Iran has been deprived from this great
opportunity .
The message of this paper, is to encourage investment in Iran,


and the writer has tried to carefully examine the reasons and obstacles on path for achieving this objective and to do its part in preparing the grounds for approaching this important goal which is considered as one of the main aims of Iran's third Economic Development Plan.
